Nancy Manias

Bsc. Exercise Science (Athletic Therapy)
Nancy found her passion for physical activity at a young age; she dabbled in a few sports but stuck to basketball for a while before gravitating towards strength training. With sports came injury, and it sparked an interest in therapy. Nancy pursued this interest and ultimately graduated from Concordia University with a Bsc. Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Therapy. Nancy further perfected her craft while interning for the Montreal Alouettes and the Vanier Cheetahs in field settings and therapy clinics. She has worked with various age groups and levels, primarily focusing on conditioning and proper movement patterns to improve clients’ fitness and prevent or treat injuries.

Matthew started off his active lifestyle as an avid tennis player. He went on to participate in many tennis competitions and a variety of sports teams. His journey in fitness started with circuit training classes where he had great weight loss success. In addition to enjoying circuit training, he has a passion for Barbell training and helping those become stronger individuals. Using Barbells is one of the simplest and most effective ways for trainees of all ages to become stronger. As a coach, Matthew is able to correct form flaws and motivate trainees to push past that mental barrier and realize their potential for success in fitness.

Jess is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach with a deep passion for movement and health. With a strong belief in the transformative power of fitness and nutrition. Jess emphasizes creating a well-rounded, sustainable healthy lifestyle beyond the gym. Her approach focuses on empowering clients to build strength, confidence, and capability both physically and mentally. Jess is committed to providing personalized, realistic fitness and nutrition plans that help each client achieve their goals in a sustainable way. Every session is designed to ensure clients leave feeling stronger, more capable, and motivated to continue their wellness journey.

L’expérience de David est basée sur la physiologie athlétique et les mouvements fonctionnels du corps. Son expérience au niveau universitaire dans le domaine du sport (lutte, football) l’a propulsé vers la réadaptation et la performance sportive.

DIPLOME
Il a obtenu son diplôme de premier cycle en kinésiologie et en études de la santé, puis a poursuivi l’ostéopathie dans le but de combiner les traitements manuelle et mouvement du corps pour des problèmes de plus complexes liées à l’anatomie.
Il a consacré sept ans de scolarité au milieu professionnel de la santé, et aura atteint un cumul de 9 années à la fin de son parcours ostéopathique.David n’a qu’un seul but, vous faire repartir sans douleur.
Mais, pour atteindre cet objectif, vous aurez besoin d’outils qui vous aideront à éviter que la douleur ne se reproduise.C’est de là que découle la philosophie de David et la philosophie de l’ostéopathie ; donner au corps un moyen de se guérir lui-même.
Qu’il s’agisse d’exercices spécialisés, de techniques myofasciales ou de manipulations viscérales, la meilleure façon de ne pas être en douleur est de donner au corps ce dont il a besoin.
Dans son temps libre, il aime les activités de plein air et s’intéresse à la pêche, à la course à pied et au vélo.

Lia is eager to bring her passion for fitness and wellness to the Mtlfitbros team. She enjoys staying active through biking and hiking, alongside her commitment to gym-based fitness. Having participated in group classes since high school, Lia understands how starting fitness at a young age can shape lifelong health.
With extensive experience working with kids, she takes a special interest in leading youth classes to help them build strong habits early on. While she enjoys working with youth, Lia is equally committed to training clients of all ages and fitness levels, designing personalized plans to help everyone achieve their fitness goals.
